A mobile phone with a free PS3 - This is one of the latest incentives available through UK mobile phone retailers. There are quite a few companies in the UK fighting Adsl Dsl Modem supremacy in the market connection you'll find that incentive offers are quite the norm at the moment. This kind of incentive seems to be almost unique in the Western world. The problem is finding a company who are reliable and have a good reputation. There are stories circulating about 'here today, gone tomorrow' firms who offer cashback and line rental offers, but when you get around to claiming them, they've vanished and left you up the proverbial creek. Customers then contact the network, but find that the incentive was offered by the retailer and not the network, so they have absolutely no claim and, furthermore, can't get out of the contract.
I personally only use one company. I agreed to Mbps Speed for three of the latest Sony Ericsson phones in September 2006, one for me, one for my wife, and one for my daughter, for 18 months. As an incentive, we each chose a Sony PSP and we were offered cashback. To claim the cashback, we had to send our bills in for specified months (May and August) and we received a cheque by return. When our contracts ended in March 2008, we took out three new phones with contracts and again received 3 free phones with free gifts and cashback.
If you consider this, you're getting the latest phone free, on a pay monthly contract and, in the case of the phone with a free PS3, a 300 game console. If you Adsl Speed Check it on a 30 per month contract, you're Streamyx Tv a total of 540 for a phone, a game console, all your calls and all your texts, even less if you have a cashback deal! You could go direct to the Network Provider, but you'll end up paying the same for your contract but not getting a valuable free gift. I'd rather have a phone with a free PS3!
